Raven Darkholme , also known as Mystique ( X Men ), is a shape-shifting mutant . Exiled by her family, she took refuge in Xavier's family as a child. She used to be Charles Xavier's best friend, but after Eric Lehnsherr founded the Brotherhood of Mutants, she joined them as she didn't want to hide anymore. ( Jennifer Shrader Lawrence ) .
